As a long-time supporter, she recognizes the concerns and issues that arise for both girls and their families in our community. She is a strong advocate with integrity, ethics and empathy. I was the FIRST chair of the Girls Inc of Durham Board of Directors and proudly a co-founder of this NOT for Profit Organization, established twenty years ago. This unique and valued long-standing organization mentors and supports young women and girls, between the ages of 6-16 years within our communities, through evidence and research based programming and offers age-appropriate after-school; in-school; virtual; hybrid and summer programs! Girls Inc of Durham helps to create the best each young lady can be! Proudly, we are STRONG SMART and BOLD!
